Sports Medicine

Sports medicine deals with physical fitness by improving the body’s performance, recovering from injury, and preventing future injuries related to sports and exercise. Athletes of all ages are at risk for any number of injuries—sprains, strains, torn ligaments, broken bones, and concussions.

The Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic (TOC) Sports Medicine Team takes pride in its commitment to understanding the goals and motivations that drive athletes in their sport or performance activities. This commitment is essential to help athletes return to play as quickly and safely as possible.

Our expert dedication to sports medicine is why TOC physicians serve as the Official Team Physicians of Florida State University athletics, Florida A&M University athletics, Tallahassee Community College athletics and Chipola College. Our physicians also serve as team physicians for numerous high school, middle school, and youth and adult sport organizations throughout North Florida and South Georgia.
