MICHAEL C. BOBLITZ, MBA

Michael Boblitz was elected the Chief Executive Officer of Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic in September 2021 after an extensive nationwide search.

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Boblitz is responsible for providing leadership, strategic vision and for directing the overall management, operations, and future growth of Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic.

Mr. Boblitz has over 20 years of extensive healthcare leadership experience. Prior to his most recent role as CEO for Reagan Medical Center, Boblitz had dedicated most of his career to leading strategy and business development for several of the top healthcare organizations in the US, including Johns Hopkins Medicine.

As an active leader, Mr. Boblitz invests his time into the community by coaching a youth middle school basketball team and, most recently, he accepted the appointment to serve as a faculty adjunct lecturer of Healthcare Management at the Florida State University’s College of Business. 

Mr. Boblitz was raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, and received his Health Administration degree from James Madison University, and his Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Having grown up in an orthopedic family at the University of Virginia, Boblitz shared he feels joining the TOC team is bringing him full circle.
