We are currently seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to provide care to our orthopedic patients with disabling conditions of limbs and spine, under the direction of and consultation with physicians, by designing and fitting orthopedic devices.
Applicant must have advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and orthotics; a strong sense to precision and attention to detail; the ability to effectively communicate and work with physicians and other health care professionals; and the ability to work as a team member to improve the quality of patient care.
Bachelor’s degree or higher-level postgraduate degree in Orthotic and Prosthetics from an accredited college or university; proof of completion of an NCOPE approved Residency Program; Board certification through the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics; and a valid Florida license or eligible.

Full-time positions available for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide clinical support, working collaboratively with staff to facilitate patient care and efficiency.
Applicants must be able to set priorities, identify and resolve problems effectively and efficiently; have strong interpersonal and customer service skills; excellent communication and organizational skills for managing workflow; follow-up on patient care and anticipating the needs of the patients and physicians; have strong computer skills to be able to work with EMR system. Additionally, some travel to satellite locations may be required. ATC’s must be available to assist with outreach and game coverage, as needed.
Must be a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid Florida license (or eligible), or a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with a valid Florida license (or eligible). Prior relevant work experience in a medical office, supporting surgeons, physicians or other allied health professionals preferred and helpful.
Full-time position available to work under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, to provide patient care and therapy services including assessing, interpreting, planning and implementing specialized physical therapy treatments in accordance with the plan of care determined by the therapist.
Duties include: facilitating and implementing therapy treatments; maintaining evaluation of patient status at appropriate intervals, as directed by supervising therapist; providing accurate, concise and professional documentation in a timely manner; collaborating with patients, caregivers, family members, physicians, other health care professionals, and supervising therapist in planning discharge from services; providing education appropriate to patient’s level of understanding regarding evaluation, treatment, and self-responsibility; instructing in home treatment program to facilitate rehabilitation and promoting independence in care, as appropriate; responding to mail, messages, and phone calls in a timely manner.
Applicants must have a cooperative work ethic toward co-workers, management, patients, visitors, and physicians; must be dependable, with the ability to make appropriate decisions, in order to carry out treatment programs and meet the individual needs of the patient; must be able to effectively assess and treat patients with appropriate scheduling and planning; must have exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships; must have effective problem solving skills with the ability to follow through; must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, multi-task and function independently with minimum supervision.
AA or BS from an accredited physical therapy assistant education program required. Must have valid Florida license (or eligible).
