Inflammation of muscles and tendons in the forearm
Have you :
- Pain when you bend or straighten the hand?
- Swelling and tenderness over the muscles and tendons in the forearm?
Carpel Tunnel Syndrome

- A dull ache in the wrist and forearm with pain radiating in to the finger?
- Pain which is worse at night?
Bursitis in the wrist
Have you :
- Pain in the wrist especially when the wrist is bent back and you put your weight on it?
- A small lump or swelling in the top of the wrist?
The wrist is a common place for various fractures and dislocations. It would need X-rays and qualified examination to determine whether you have any of the following :
- Fractures of the scaphoid.
- Dislocation of the lunate.
- Perilunar dislocation.
- Malacia of the lunate.
- Separation between the scaphoid and lunate.
- Fracture of the hook of the hamate.
