Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist
Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join a thriving 22 physician Orthopedic Practice to evaluate and determine appropriate prosthetic and orthotic needs, in consultation with physicians and other allied health providers regarding patients.
The Practice has been in business since 1974 and has subspecialties in foot & ankle , spine, hand, adult reconstruction, and sports medicine. We serve North Florida and South Georgia with 6 satellite offices and a main campus housing on site X-ray, MRI and Orthotics and Prosthetics, PT and ASC. Position requires a bachelor's degree, certification by the American Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics, and at least four years of prior work experience. Must be eligible for Florida licensure.

EMR Support Associate
Key position within the Information Technology Department to support the EMR Project Management and IT team in the implementation, adoption and evaluation of a new EMR system. Duties include: planning and managing deployment of Exscribe E-Record EMR system to Physician Practice; utilizing analytical ability to identify system workflows in the current EMR system; conducting and evaluating technological knowledge to develop EMR training programs and associated documentation; providing on-site assistance and support during go-live events; and collaborating with system analysts, vendors and Practice staff to complete successful implementations.
Applicant must have basic knowledge of current operating systems, hardware, electronic medical records systems and other aspects of information systems; the ability to handle multiple project timelines and training demands giving high level of attention to detail, with a great skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities; the ability to maintain effective working relationships and effectively communicate with Physicians, Managers, employees and external contacts; and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions through various problem solving techniques.
Position requires field of study in Information Technology, Information Services and Information Communication. Concentration in Health Informatics and experience with deployment of new software systems or medical office management a plus.

Medical Assistant
Immediate opening for an experienced Medical Assistant to work directly with an Orthopedic Surgeon and assist with the care of Clinic patients. Duties include but not limited to: assisting Physician with exam, assisting with paperwork, maintaining patient flow and workflow, working collaboratively as a team member of the Clinic staff to provide high quality treatment and efficient service to patients, scheduling appointments, surgeries and specialized tests, making patient calls, and assisting with the removal of splints, dressings, casts, sutures and staples as directed. Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience within a medical office setting. MA certification preferred. If not certified, completion of an accredited medical assistant program must be obtained within two years of employment.

Help Desk Coordinator
Under the direction of the Network Administrator, assist in performing a variety of troubleshooting tasks including, computers, network connections, operating systems and related applications, peripheral and communication equipment to determine cause and resolution of problems encountered by the Physicians and staff. Applicant must have have basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, servers and other aspects of troubleshooting management information systems and equipment; analytical and creative problem solving skills with good customer service orientation; be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; the ability to diagnose level of customers needs; good organizational and communication skills; the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work independently, as well as, a part of a team; be able to drive to satellite locations.

Public Relations/Marketing
Under the guidance of Administration, play a pivotal role in strategic planning and implementation of marketing and communication strategies relating to TOC and the TOC Foundation, working closely with the current marketing team to shift creative ideas to action for our clientele base; assist in the design and maintenance of our website and social networking media; organize and distribute brochures, making updates and changes as necessary; utilize email access in promoting company and programs; develop and implement various marketing plans; and provide lead responsibility for a variety of projects and assignments. Applicant must have strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills; be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop; effective project management skills; the ability to define problems, collect market data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions through various problem solving techniques; strong organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and establishing priorities; and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
